SMASH All-in-One + SLED

SMASH All-in-One is a multi-level, multi-language, mixed-mode simulator featuring true behavioural modelling. SMASH uses SPICE syntax for analogue descriptions, Verilog-HDL and VHDL for digital, VHDL-A and ABCD (a combination of C and spice) for analogue behavioural and SystemC and C for high level modelling. This combination of design languages at any abstraction level within SMASH provides support for the top-down design flow. This allows for system level modelling using HDL, design simulation and progressive substitution with gate or transistor level descriptions within the same verification flow. SMASH is suitable for PCB or IC design applications.

SLED (Schematic Link EDitor) is a hierarchical schematic design entry editor running under PC and on SUN platforms. Provides both graphic entry and scripting for generating and configuring heirarchical netlist designs.

COACH COACH provides direct interface between Cadence Composer and SMASH for netlisting and simulation. COACH is included as a no-cost addition to SMASH.

SCROOGE

SCROOGE is a mixed-signal hierarchical power consumption analyser which uses SMASH as the simulation engine. The power consumption is analyzed during a transient simulation in order to take into account the analogue and logic activity due to the testbench. The results are analyzed by SCROOGE without the need to export very large activity files for post-processing. Power consumption of logic and analogue blocks may be directly analyzed in the same waveform window.

How to Order

Orders are placed with the vendor on a single order, once per month. To be included in the current month's order, all documents including original ink-signed paper End User Agreements (if applicable) must be received by the Microelectronics Support Centre no later than the 25th day of the month.
