Membership Documents and Vendor Approval

To apply for Academic Membership of EUROPRACTICE, you will need to submit the following documents to the Microelectronics Support Centre at RAL:

Additionally Research Laboratories are required to submit to us statement(s) regarding planned end usage for required design tools. You may submit these statements in advance of formal membership and software order paperwork if you wish via e-mail to MicroelectronicsCentre@stfc.ac.uk or via fax to +44 (0) 1235 44 5546. If submitting in advance of other paperwork, please mention your intent to join EUROPRACTICE, subject to the vendor approval

How to Complete Membership Documents

1. EUROPRACTICE Research Laboratory Subscription Application Form

Contact Name: Enter your name as the official contact within your organisation. This must be a full time permanent staff member and this person will become EUROPRACTICE Representative for your organisation. Please click here for guidance on the role of EUROPRACTICE Representative.
Institution Name: This is the full name of your institution. If your institution is commonly known by an abbreviation, state this in addition to the full name.
Address: Full postal address of your organisation.
VAT number: The VAT number of your organisation (required for invoicing purposes) if you have one.
Telephone/Fax/E-mail: Points of contact.
Payment Methods: Official Purchase Order. Click Here if you cannot raise an official Purchase Order.
Signature Block: Please sign and date.

2. EUROPRACTICE Research Laboratory Subscription Agreement

Front Page:

Institution Name: This is the full name of your institution. If your institution is commonly known by an abbreviation, state this in addition to the full name.
Address: Full postal address.
Contact Name: A point of contact. This should be a responsible person who also knows about your institutions involvement with EUROPRACTICE. It may be an actual person, or a job position (for example Head of Department of Electrical Engineering).
Telephone/Fax/E-mail: Points of contact.

The back page requires an original signature (in ink), name title and date. If your institution has an official stamp, please include this below the signature block.

Evidence of Research Laboratory Status

Publicly funded Research Laboratories who are primarily engaged in University like activities will be considered for access to software tools, subject to vendor approval. To qualify for Research Laboratory membership of EUROPRACTICE, your organisation must obtain its funding from publicly funded research and student training. Please submit evidence of your organisation's status on headed paper and signed by the Laboratory Director (or equivalent).

What Next

Once your application has been checked, processed and successfully approved, you will receive notification of your membership number and an invoice quoting your Purchase Order number which must be paid in order to validate your EUROPRACTICE membership (if the subscription fee is applicable). Bank details will be quoted on our invoices.
