Membership Documents

To apply for Academic Membership of EUROPRACTICE, you will need to submit the following documents to the Microelectronics Support Centre at RAL:

How To Send All Documents

Please send high quality, colour, scanned PDF versions of all documents via e-mail to MicroelectronicsCentre@stfc.ac.uk. We do not need paper originals, unless high quality, colour, scanned PDFs cannot be supplied.


How to Complete Membership Documents:

EUROPRACTICE Academic Subscription Application Form

Contact Name: Enter your name as the official contact within your organisation. This must be a full-time permant academic staff member and this person will become EUROPRACTICE Representative for your organisation
Institution Name: This is the full name of your institution. If your institution is commonly known by an abbreviation, state this in addition to the full name.
Address: Full postal address of your organisation.
VAT number: The VAT number of your organisation (required for invoicing purposes) if you have one.
Telephone/Fax/E-mail: Points of contact.
Payment Methods: Official Purchase Order.
Signature Block: Please sign and date.

Requires an original signature (in ink), name title and date. If your institution has an official stamp, please include this below the signature block.

Evidence of Academic Status

To qualify for academic membership of EUROPRACTICE, your Institution must primarily be a degree (including undergraduate degrees) awarding Institution. Please provide a signed statement on your institutions letterhead which confirms your eligibility for academic membership. This statement must also provide a brief description of how design tools acquired via EUROPRACTICE will go on to be introduced into your academic teaching and non-commercial research activities (i.e. details of what you plan to do with the tools).


What's Next?

Once your application has been checked, processed and successfully approved, you will receive notification of your membership number and an invoice quoting your Purchase Order number which must be paid in order to validate your EUROPRACTICE membership (if the subscription fee is applicable). Bank details will be quoted on our invoices.
